Still in Conil

A quiet day.

Breakfast of fried mushrooms and coffee followed by a trip downstairs for more coffee and some toast. The guy running the coffee shop seems pretty clued up and sold us some coffee beans which he kindly ground for us. It turned out to be in roughly the same price bracket as coffee that has passed through your traditional civet cat and we’re expecting to be suitably impressed.

After a quick trip down to an artisan panaderia which specialises in sourdough which is indeed very good we met up with Frank and Marion back in the coffee house where this time we took advantage of the kombucha which again was excellent.

We spent the rest of the day wandering around near the beach taking the occasional interesting photograph before returning to watch the next two films in the Jason Bourne series which were as great as ever.

Lunch of gyozas and udon noodles – yummy
Simply weird
The sea front
It’s good to be prepared
And we now know which way to run
Capitan Perez Moreno – apparently a young aviator who died in an accident at the tender age of 28 😞
Conil has them too 😊

It’s a cloudy night unfortunately so no more exciting astrophotography 😢. Hopefully at least one of the remaining nights we’re here will give the telescope a chance but it’s fingers crossed 🤞

Buenas noches
