We arrived to find Santiago full of noise and people. Some sort of procession was winding its way through the town towards the cathedral – very noisy.

The walk from San Roque to Valenca was uneventful, not so the bus journey which left 10 minutes early (luckily we’d arrived in plenty of time) and hurtled to Santiago. The driver was particularly surly and was clearly in a terrible hurry to get to A Caruña. Still, we got there safely.

The flight is booked for tomorrow with Vueling. We’ll get into Gatwick, grab a coach and will be home in no time. I suspect that we’ll be back out again soon enough to complete the journey – I hate leaving stuff undone 😊.

Short stints – that’s the way to go.
