Good flight, decent dinner at what must be one of the few remaining Jamie’s restaurants after a relatively easy bus journey. Many thanks to Menna for firstly walking over to us to pick up excess packaging and later, driving into town to deliver the correct credencials. How does one spell muppet? ‘D’, ‘o’, ‘r’, ‘o’, ‘t’, ‘h’, ‘y’.

We’re happily ensconced now in the New Bilbao airport hotel, only a short 5 minute shuttle drive from the airport itself. We’ve scheduled the shuttle for 8:45 tomorrow morning to take us back to the airport from where we’ll catch a bus down to the Guggenheim.
We’ve got a pleasant few hours to spend in Bilbao before catching the early afternoon train to Logroño. It’ll be too late to walk the 12km to Navarette where we curtailed our Camino last time so we’ll spend the evening in Logroño (where we found a lovely restaurant last time) before recommencing first thing.
We’re tired, all appears to be fine at home and so long as our chilled out Taliesin

has bear,

all should be well with the world.
Buen Camino
