We’re en route, heading for Limoges to pick up Raphaël before picking up an early evening sailing from Calais on Thursday.

There were no buses back to Pamplona so a chap in a large taxi picked us up at 8:30 and deposited us some 45 minutes later outside the main bus terminal in the centre of Pamplona.

After a quick breakfast we picked up the car and instructed Genevieve to take us to San Sebastián where we’d terminated our walk on the Camino Norte after only one day.

It’s Sunday and many of the inhabitants of San Sebastián were on the front enjoying the warm weather if not the sunshine.

Lunch was at a pleasant bar, of which San Sebastián is well endowed.
